Vacation Bible School 2014
We’re getting everything ready for this year’s Vacation Bible School: Arrow Island! We would love it if you could join us for a week of fun and learning about God's Word. Each evening we’ll sing songs, do crafts, play games and learn about God’s incredible love for us.
What is Vacation Bible School?
This is a week long event that incorporates Bible stories, songs, games, crafts and snacks.
When is it?
Sunday, June 1st - Thursday, June 5th from 6-8:30pm
Who is it for?
Kids who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade.
How do I register for VBS?

How much does it cost?
Nothing! It is free for all kids!
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You will be running, jumping and playing games so dress appropriately.
Can I invite my friends and neighbors?
Yes! Bring your classmates, friends, family and neighbors!
Why do I, as a parent, need to come on the last night?
To see what your kids have done all week, the songs they learned and enjoy free root beer floats!
What if I want to volunteer to help with VBS this year?

Men's Memorial Day Bicycle & Motorcycle Ride
Every year Saylorville hosts a Men's Bike Ride on Memorial Day morning (May 26th). This includes bicycles and motorcycles! See the details below for each ride.
Bicycle Ride
This year we are riding the High Trestle Trail starting at 7:00am from Nick Long's house (directions). Ride as far as you wish but we will begin eating breakfast (steak, eggs, rolls, juice & coffee) at 9:00am and testimonies begin at 9:45am. We plan to be done around 10:15am. If you wish to ride the entire trail, the total round trip is 3-4 hours. You will either need to start earlier or you will miss breakfast. Motorcycle Ride
Meet at Nick Long's house (directions) for breakfast and testimonies at 9:00am. We will leave from Nick's house around 10:15am. We should be back round 12:00pm. Please no scooters allowed. If you have questions about the motorcycle ride please contact Chris Schrock at 515-238-7033.
We are also making a special welcome to men who have no desire in riding but want to come to fellowship and eat. We still need you to sign up so that we can plan for food.
