I want to inform all of you that there were two soldiers in Tim's battallion killed this weekend. That's all I know, I don't have any details. My heart is so deeply saddened for these two families whose lives were changed forever today. As I have earlier mentioned this is the month of Ramadan over there and the violence is greatly heightened. Tim is out on the road about 5 days a week right now, as best as I can tell. For those of you that don't know he drives for about 15-18 hours a day, keeps a look out for roadside bombs or anything suspicious, and sets up security for convoys carrying supplies in for the soldiers all across the country. He does this in the western part of Iraq, driving to the border of Syria and back to pick up these supplies.
I can never express my gratitude for your prayers, God is obviously using Tim over ther and keeping him safe. Please keep these families in your prayers also over the next couple of days.

You are invited to join the men of Saylorville Baptist Church for a time of challenge from God's Word and fellowship with other believers. The cost is $30. PS - Don't forget to sign up for the special, pre-retreat Best Ball Golf Tournament. We will start at 10AM Friday at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny, IA. Cost will be $25 and includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, and a sack lunch.
