Mike and Alice started attending Saylorville in 2003. They were attending a catholic church in Ankeny when they made the big decision to start looking for another church. That same week, Alice met Pastor Pat at a coffee shop. He invited them to Saylorville Church and the rest is history!
Mike was reading a book called, “What Christians Believe” as he was riding a bus home from work one day. It was then that he admitted his sinful state and accepted Christ as His Savior. He was 31 years old.
Mike and Alice are Community Group leaders and he currently serves as a Deacon. He also helps in the children’s ministry and is part of the outreach team.
Mike considers it an honor to be given the opportunity to serve the church as a Deacon.
