Charity Pearson is the Assimilation Coordinator at Saylorville Church. She grew up in a Christian family where she heard the truth of the gospel on a daily basis. After hearing the message of Salvation at church and at home, Charity came to a saving knowledge of Jesus and her need for Him as her Savior as a three year old. While she was in junior high, God led her and her parents to become missionaries in Lisbon, Portugal. God used this major life transition to affirm in Charity’s heart that He had a plan for her life and wanted to use her to bring His love to others. With a desire to pursue full-time ministry, Charity attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL where she studied Communications and Bible. Charity met her husband Kyhl at Moody and they have one daughter, Emery and one son, Miles. They came to Saylorville in 2014 and have enjoyed serving as cell group leaders and in children’s ministry and have a heart to see others grow in Christ and fall in love with His church. Charity enjoys writing, coffee, spending time with her family and interacting with and encouraging missionaries around the world. One of her favorite verses is Philippians 3:20 “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
