The Trial, Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus – Easter 2014

Easter14_590-times

John 3:16 is the most well known verse in all of the Bible. It speaks of God’s love for the world. But what about the word “gave” in that verse? What did that look like, that God “gave His only begotten Son”? Friend, you will never look at John 3:16 the same once you have come to understand the meaning of God giving up His Son. We invite you to our series, “The Trial, Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus”.

This year for Easter we are having a Good Friday service (Infant – 3 years old childcare provided) on Friday, April 18th at 6:30pm to reflect on the agony of the cross followed by Easter on Sunday, April 20th with the celebration of the resurrection of the Savior! We are encouraging everyone to attend both services.

On Sunday there will be three services at 7:00am, 8:30am and 10:15am with a continental breakfast a half hour before all services.

Easter Schedule:

First Service Breakfast – 6:30am
First Service – 7:00am
Second Service Breakfast – 8:00am
Second Service – 8:30am
Third Service Breakfast – 9:45am
Third Service – 10:15am
No Evening Activities

If you are coming to the breakfast, please come to the one before the service you will be attending. This will help us with parking, space and overall flow.

Parking Information

Due to larger crowds on Easter, we will be shuttling people from the VFW’s West Parking Lot at 1309 NE 66th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313. Please see the map below for more details. We want to make parking as easy and simple as possible. If you are visiting Saylorville on Easter Sunday, please park in our main parking lots near the church. We will have many volunteers to help you park and direct you to the breakfast and worship times.
