Join us for a Saturday morning run! We will meet at the Sycamore Access in Johnston at 8:00am. We’ll paddle the Des Moines River from Sycamore Access to Prospect Park near downtown Des Moines.

You will need to bring a kayak or canoe if you have one. If you don’t have a boat but want to join us, we can help find you a boat to use. Please sign up and let us know:

– Have a boat someone can borrow

The float will take us about 2 hours on the water. It’s an easy paddle with no rapids or difficult sections. We can grab lunch together after we takeout. We’ll work out shuttles to get everyone back to the launch after we’re done.
