Lee and Violette Abuhl were both born and raised in Africa and have spent most of their life in ministry in several areas in Africa. After faithfully serving in college ministry on the campus of Iowa State University, God called them back to Africa. They served for seven years in Mango, Togo at the Hospital of Hope before making their way to Kara, Togo in 2020 to help lead a new team of missionaries who desired to do church planting among unreached and unengaged people in this central part of Togo. The Abuhls moved back to the United States in 2024 are finishing their career with ABWE with a year-long furlough reporting to supporters and churches.
