Curtis had the privilege of growing up in a loving Christian home. He grew up in Indianola, IA where his dad was a pastor for 18 years. He is the youngest of five. Curtis is married to Lisa Johnson. He was blessed to trust Christ at a young age and confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that God rose from the dead and conquered sin and death! (Romans 10:9) The Lord has been so faithful to him and has continued to draw him to Himself over the years and been his mighty rock. (Psalm 62:7)
Curtis graduated from Grandview Christian School in 2012 and then went on to study Bible and Theology at Faith Baptist Bible College for one year. Curtis is now attending Mercy College of Health Sciences working on his Bachelors of Science in Nursing. He currently works as a part-time Patient Care Technician at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.
In his free time, Curtis loves anything that has to do with music, the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. He is most passionate about making Christ known through loving people! One of Curtis’ life verses is Psalm 63:3, “Because Your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise You.”
