Saylorville’s vision is to be a church-planting church. To this end, we are engaged in training, equipping, and sending out our members to strengthen existing churches and start new congregations that will reach more people with the Gospel.
Engage is a network of fellowshipping churches throughout Iowa which currently includes Saylorville Church of North Des Moines, Lakeside Fellowship in Polk City, Living Waters Fellowship of South Des Moines, High Pointe Church in Altoona and Redeemer Church in Winterset. Started by Saylorville in 2005, our goal is to plant churches out of our own churches, while encouraging each church to remain Gospel centered and evangelistically active. We do this through regular pastoral meetings and occasional all-church events.
Check out the sites below to see what God is doing through ministries that have been started through our church planting vision.
Our first church plant, Lakeside Fellowship, was incorporated as a church in 2007. Located in Polk City, Iowa they continue to grow and reach their community for Christ. For more information about Lakeside Fellowship, check out their website or contact them at email@example.com.
Living Waters Fellowship
Our second church plant, Living Waters Fellowship, was incorporated as a church in 2009. They are located in the Easter Lake area on the Southwest side of Des Moines. For more information contact Josh at firstname.lastname@example.org.
High Pointe Church
Our most recent church plant is just beginning in Winterset, Iowa. Located right on the town square in the old JC Penny building, the church plant is lead by Jaysson Gurwell who has both lived and owned his own business in Winterset. After being the right hand man to Greg Pollak at High Pointe Church, Jaysson followed the call to lead Redeemer Church. For more information contact Jaysson at email@example.com
