Of all of the drama the Old Testament provides, none surpasses the Passover. After a series of warnings from God and devastating judgments upon the Egyptian gods, the greatest judgment was still to come – the death of every firstborn in Egypt. All of this, of course, pictured the greatest judgment of all that was yet to come – the Cross of Jesus Christ, where God’s wrath was poured out on a His very own Son.
