What is Shine?
Shine is a ministry for the children of Saylorville Church.
Who is it for?
Kids 2 ½ years through 5th grade.
Where does it meet?
All Shine classes meet in the Family Life Center in age-graded classrooms.
When does it meet?
Sunday evening at 5:00pm during Sunday Nights at Saylorville.
We desire to see this ministry produce children who are learning His Word, trusting Christ, and submitting to His Lordship.
What do you teach?
2 ½ through 3 years
The 2 ½-3 year olds meet together in a class that helps transition them from nursery to the Shine preschool classes. In their class they play, do a craft, have a snack, participate in group activities that get them engaged in the lesson and learn important truths about who God is.
4 years through 5th Grade
The curriculum for Shine is called The Gospel Project. The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before!
