Steve and Kelley Frerichs are church planters in Lima, Peru. They have been serving in Lima since 2000. Upon arriving in Peru, they started working in the last church that Steve’s parents had started. In 2005, Steve was called to be the lead pastor of that church. For the next five years, Steve led that church with the vision to call a Peruvian as their pastor. God provided a wonderful pastor and in 2011 they had the blessing of starting a new church plant with a core group of 38 believers. Their hearts’ passion is to see God start a church planting movement that will support a global missions-sending movement out of Peru. To date, their church has started two church plants and is praying toward starting a third.
Steve and Kelley have been blessed with five wonderful kids who love the Lord and desire to serve Him. Their son, Joseph, his wife Kimberly and their daughter Sadie serve alongside them through Sports Ministry. The desire of the Frerichs’ heart is to be able to serve the Savior in reaching the lost for Christ with all of their kids and their families.
