At the age of twelve, Arlan Thorson accepted the Lord as his Savior during a small town evangelistic meeting. A faithful youth leader soon ‘walked alongside’ Arlan to become the spiritual model that he needed. During high school, he met his future wife, Judy, who has continually encouraged him throughout his adult life. While attending this church, he has served as a deacon, Sunday school superintendent, teacher, and small group leader. Professionally, he has worked as both a school teacher and school consultant.

Arlan is now directing our senior citizens’ group using “whatever gift” he has received (1 Peter 4:10). Arlan is married to Judy and they have three sons, two wonderful daughter-in-laws, and five super-cool grand kids.
